I had had stiff shoulder for many years. By having treatments here, one day, I touched the shoulder and noticed my "stone" there had become smaller. Also, she suggested using a hot pack and supplements which helped me as well.

This is the experience from BARBARA HODDINOTTI have been suffering from Peripheral Neuropathy 24/7, for the past 6 years , as a result of Chemotherapy. After trying medications and other consultations , which was showing no signs of relief , I was recommended to try acupuncture . At first I was a skeptic, then thought , why not , it's worth a try. I researched and luckily found Dr. Melanie Morrill , a well qualified and knowledgeable Dr. of Acupuncture. I arranged a consultation , had an assessment done . The caring professionalism and positive reinforcement from Dr. Morrill soon took my skeptism away and after discussion , was set up with a 6 month plan of treatment 2-3 times/ week. I am happy to report that after only 1 month there are positive indicators of being on the road to a better quality of life , not only for me but my family as well. To make my life even easier , my follow up appointments were set in place for the duration of my treatment plan, with the option to cancel if necessary. Takes the frustration of attempting to book appointments. I would also like to acknowledge the two wonderful ladies working in Dr. Morrill's office , Felicity and Beth . They greet you with a smile and immediately puts you at ease.Thank you !!!!!!Barbara Hoddinott

Staff is super friendly and the acupuncturist is very knowledgeable and never makes you feel rushed. Highly recommend!
Dr. Melanie was amazing. She had great feedback to give me about all of my conditions, and communicated very well. Very accepting and calming place. I wanted an increase in my energy and I found about a 30% increase as well as some much needed pain relief. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend giving Melanie a try.

My doula referred me to Melanie at Accessible Acupuncture for prenatal care in the weeks leading up to my labour and delivery. I went for one session each week for about seven or eight weeks, with the aim of each session being some type preparation for a smooth and quick delivery. Each experience was incredibly positive and I feel like Melanie really took the time to listen to my concerns. Together, we worked on loosening up my tight hips and ripening my cervix. At every step of our appointments, she would check in to make sure I was comfortable, and she would frequently ask for consent before taking any actions on my body. I ended up going into spontaneous labour in the evening of my due date. Early labour lasted around 18-20 hours, active labour was around 12 hours, and I pushed for one hour — my baby was born at 40+2. To the best of my knowledge, this isn't too bad for a first time mom (especially one with tight hips!) Overall, and to my surprise, the pushing stage was the easiest part for me, and I believe this was due in part to my time with Melanie. My pain relief was breathing techniques, tylenol, gravol, and laughing gas.

Melanie has been an incredible source of information, calm and support during the first trimester of my pregnancy. I struggled with severe nausea, gagging/ retching, strong food aversions and morning sickness since week 5 and I am now 11 weeks. The acupuncture helped to battle the symptoms when medication did not which was relief as it took a while to convince my doc that the meds were not working! Needless to say it's been rough and during this time Melanie suggested at home remedies, simple food & drink swaps and routine changes. With Melanie's help, I feel have slowly regained some normality in my life and would happily recommend her to anyone! Thank you so, so much!!

I had a very positive and helpful experience seeing Melanie for prenatal acupuncture. I was nervous about any kind of treatments during pregnancy, but knowing that Melanie was certified in treating pregnant women made me feel much more comfortable. Melanie is very thorough and makes sure all of your questions and concerns are being addressed. I had developed really bad hip pain that was almost intolerable. Melanie was able to pin point the cause of this pain and treat it with acupuncture. I don't think I would have made it through otherwise! Melanie is very professional and kind, and I alway felt very welcomed at her practice. I strongly suggest seeing her for all of your prenatal/postpartum needs!

Melanie was able to help with my insomnia! I would wake up and not be able to sleep for 2-3 hours during the night. This was the first time I have tried accupuncture and am so happy I did! Melanie's treatment has enabled me to get 7-8 hours of sleep drug free. I feel like a new person.
