Does Accessible Acupuncture offer Dry Needling?

Yes, our acupuncturist, Melanie Morrill R.Ac, offers both acupuncture and dry needling. Let her know you would like dry needling and she will incorporate it into your treatment. 


What To Do Before Your Acupuncture Appointment 

  • Do drink some water
  • Do eat  a light meal before your appointment
  • Do fill out your initial intake form
  • Do wear comfortable clothing
  • Do call or email with pre-appointment questions
  • Do put your phone on silent so you can rest during your treatment
  • Don't worry about shaving, tanning, or cosmetics
  • Avoid consuming alcohol, caffeine, or cannabis
  • Don't rush to your appointment but do arrive on time


What To Do During Your Acupuncture Appointment 

  • breath deeply
  • relax and nap
  • listen to your body
  • use the call button as needed
  • ask questions
  • avoid movement or move slowly
  • set your phone to silent


What To Do After Your Acupuncture Appointment 

  • Rest and hydrate
  • Ask questions
  • Review your treatment plan
  • Visit the referrals your acupuncturist suggests. (MD, physio, or massage)
  • Take your recommended herbs supplements
  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine
  • Avoid strenuous exercise
  • Eat a balanced meal
